Handmade ceramic mini mosaic, 4⅜" square overall. Nine hand-built stoneware tiles, individually glazed and kiln-fired, are mounted in a smooth wood box frame. Because each tile is shaped by hand, small variations in size, surface, and glaze are part of the character. Glazes pool, break, and shift in the kiln, so no two pieces are alike. The open back hangs directly on a single nail, no hardware needed, or it can sit on a shelf.
